Description

The Basketball Tower Competition Complete is an easily transportable, full-size tower with a maximum reach of 2400mm, in a fixed or reversible option.

The tower allows for both full-size basketball and netball courts, including a 20mm double-strutted powder-coated basketball ring and a netball ring on reversible models. The high durability SMC backboard is much stronger and more durable than timber alternatives, expected to last up to 10 years depending on the environment. The four-piece design includes heavy-duty 115mm OD high-tensile 350 grade galvanized steel, with the upright and outreach hot-dipped before fabrication and the main support after fabrication for extra strength. It can be made in different strengths to suit W28, W41, and W50 wind-rated areas.

The structure includes an upright locking flange, and a turning tool for reversible models. The structure can be removed from the sleeve if required. Construction cage and sleeve can be requested at an additional charge for reversible models.

WIND RATING
Wind ratings are classifications that combine wind region, terrain category, shielding, and topography to determine the appropriate wind load for structures and equipment. The classification is divided into three categories: W28, W41 and W50.

• W28: Very low wind, suitable for sheltered areas.
• W41: Standard for most areas.
• W50: Suitable for cyclone prone areas.
