The HART Balance Beam is timber construction and can used either flat or on the side.

• 240cm long x 9cm wide beam rests on two wooden stands
• approx 10cm from ground.
• Versatile beam can be used either flat or on the side.
• Not suitable to be left outdoors permanently

These products are supplied by Shark Products – a valuable initiative of the Sandgate Special Education Unit.

The students of Sandgate District State High School’s Special Education Program, supply SHAR Products in Partnership with HART Sport.

The SHARK Products program is included in the Certificate II in Furniture Making Pathways for students in Years 10, 11 & 12. This program provides valuable work experience. Students from Yrs 7-9 are introduced to the ‘Shark Shed’. This includes both SEP and disengaged students.
The students are thoroughly involved in the Shark Product processes as well as being taught Workplace Health & Safety, tool and machinery use.  The students gain self-confidence, self-motivation and a sense of satisfaction from their experience in the Shark Shed.
